This page links to a Blue tit birdbox webcam in our garden.
The bird box was built mid January 2006 and installed in our garden at the end of January.
It started off using a miniature analogue transmitter to send the pictures and sound to the computer,
but I have now replaced the transmitter with a cable which delivers better quality images.
The analogue transmitter is good enough to watch on a TV but not quite up to delivering quality images for the internet.
The computer then looks for any movement in the box which it records and uploads onto the internet.
For a while the Blue tits decided not to nest in it, but instead steal the nesting box intended for the Great tits.
Now they have left the Great tit's box alone after possibly being scared off by them
and have made their home here (where they should be!). Nesting is complete, nine eggs have been laid,
incubation has been gone through and, hurrah..............
